ICONS

Icons examines the concept of "icon”, which we are usually unaware of, but is a part of life. Icons that manifest themselves in different ways in every layer of life has been shaped according to geography, time and culture and has changed continuously throughout history. The construction or destruction of the icons affected the formation or destruction of societies.

The choreographic structure of Icons, which works on this cycle of "construction and destruction” throughout history, was also built up in this way. Throughout the performance; solos, duets or trios are built with music and dance, brought to the most impressive (iconic) levels by artistic mastery and ultimately destroyed. These choreographic icons, shaped in various forms, question the various rushes of us in life and invite their audience to think.
